Haiku: Allyson Whipple

Sometimes, I wish the rain
could wash away the sky
the way it erodes the earth


Allyson Whipple makes her home in Austin, Texas. Much of her poetry is inspired by the Texas landscape. Her work has most recently appeared in TRIVIA: Voices of FeminismYour Daily Poem and the 2013 Texas Poetry Calendar.  When not writing, she works in education, studies dance and kung fu, an chases after two rambunctious dogs.
